During the evening of September 19 or early morning hours of September 20, there were quite a few mailboxes damaged in the Westby/Cashton area along Lovaas Ridge Rd, Eide Rd, Jore Rd, Carlson Ridge Rd and County Road D. Do you know who did this? If so, please submit a tip to us so we can resolve this crime. Becky Zahm – Resignation – LaFarge
At our board meeting last week, we celebrated the many years of service Becky Zahm has given to our organization! Becky served on our board of directors since the very beginning in 1987 as our LaFarge representative and recently resigned from the board. We thank Becky so much for all of her hard work over the years in helping promote our organization and our mission of working with our local law enforcement professionals in crime prevention. Becky will be greatly missed by our organization but we will cherish everything that Becky gave to us as one of our “since Day 1” leaders! Thank you, Becky…you did great and we will miss you! If you see Becky, please thank her for her many years of services in promoting safer communities.
Burglary – City of Westby
Burglary at The Big Red Shed…in the early morning hours of December 12, 2021 and December 14, 2021, The Big Red Shed in the City of Westby was burglarized. One particular item that was stolen was a Cook & Brother Confederate naval sword. Also stolen was a Luger .22 pistol, several coins and pocket knives. One knife was a John Deere and the others were Swedish knives. Do you have information on this burglary? If so, submit an anonymous tip!
